PRIVACY POLICY

THE SHORT VERSION
Bitrounds does not collect any data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your timers, settings and workout log live on your iPhone and nowhere else.
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE
The timers you create, your settings, colors and your workout log are stored on your device. The Bitrounds widgets and Live Activity read the same data from your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
APPLE HEALTH
If you allow it, Bitrounds saves the workouts you finish to Apple Health. It only writes workouts and never reads your Health data. Health data is never used for advertising, never shared with third parties and never leaves your device through Bitrounds. You can turn this off at any time in the Health app or in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
NOTIFICATIONS
Workout cues are scheduled locally on your iPhone. Bitrounds does not use push notifications from a server.
PURCHASES
The one-time Insert Coin unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or your Apple Account. The app checks your purchase on your device with Apple.
CRASH REPORTS
If you chose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. They contain no personal information, and you control this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. TestFlight testers may also choose to send feedback and crash reports through TestFlight. In the app, Settings › Help › Send debug log opens an email to us with a log file attached: recent app errors, crash and hang reports from your iPhone, the app and iOS versions and your iPhone model. It holds nothing you typed and no workout data. Bitrounds keeps this log on your iPhone and never sends it by itself; we only receive it if you send that email, and we use it only to fix the problem.
THIS WEBSITE
bitrounds.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics. It only remembers the language you pick, in your browser. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, which processes standard request logs such as IP addresses to deliver the site and keep it secure.
CHILDREN
Bitrounds collects no data from anyone, including children.
CHANGES
If a future feature, such as working out together with friends, needs to send anything off your device, this page will say exactly what and why before that feature ships. The date at the top shows the last change.
